Our Opinion: Located in the aptly named (and perfectly styled) San Francisco Condos, this top floor unit on Beacon Hills Drive is a dream of a stylish, off-the-beaten-path sanctuary. What with that architecture, the pool access, and the quiet setting, you’ll be hard pressed to think you’re not on vacation all the time. Plenty of love has been given to the interior of this condo–new windows and air conditioning as of 2012, as well as space-defining touches like bamboo flooring and custom molding/casing throughout. The front room is airy and spacious with high ceilings, an adorable kitchenette, and a fireplace for those chilly winter eves. The bedroom is cozy but roomy, and a few lovely upgrades grace the bathroom. For our money, though, that private balcony just off the kitchen is the place to be–sipping your morning cup, contemplating life’s biggest question, or watching the sun set over a glass of red never seemed so enjoyable. Naturally, we know that finding your own, private haven doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice convenience. Plenty of shopping centers nearby to meet all your grocery/gas-getting needs. TRAX is a quick bike ride away, and freeway access a damn breeze. For those looking to exercise on the regular, you’re just a 10-minute walk from the Jordan River Parkway, and nearby Taylorsville High School allows public access to their tennis courts and track after school hours (time to dust off that track suit). Grab your close ones, stoke up that fire, and make a toast to finding the space in which you unequivocally belong.
