To be frank, we’re bummed about this one. Not the home--we love the home. We're bummed that some of the best of our SLC people will be leaving. Our pals, John and Erika, are flat-out solid folks, and thanks to wicked/wonderful wanderlust, they'll be moving along soon. So, to wish them well (crying on the inside), we rolled up with some gorgeous hors d'oeuvres (gratzi, Avenues Bistro on Third) and drink (and merci, DABC), and put on some tunes to let the evening play itself out. From the moment we stepped onto their charming front porch, this cottage had us enamored. Having just completed a total kitchen re-doozy, we knew their space was going to deliver in spades. We were totally right. That zen-like bathroom. That spacious main suite. That handsome-as-hell portion of yard. And that workshop! Sigh. Put together, it all makes for a home as magical as our dear, departing pals. Watch the website…details to come on this one very soon.
