Dear Client Family,
On behalf of the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake, we're COLLECTIVELY reaching out to you for help. Winter's en route, and the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake is gearing up for their annual effort to collect used clothing -- particularly warm, winter clothing -- for homeless men, women, and children in the SLC area. Donations help families in need stay warm and dry. Kind of a big deal.
The focus is on any warm, winter clothing and, if possible, blankets. There's also need for travel-sized toiletries of all types. Clothing items for men, women, and children will be gratefully received, but the Rescue Mission of Salt Lake can find a home for other items as well [including, but not limited to, toys, shoes, luggage, sheets, towels, and working household items like dishes, small appliances, strollers, etc.] Keep in mind, as these folks obtain work and homes, they'll need furnishings, as well.
For our part, we'll be accepting donations at the cityhomeCOLLECTIVE office, located on the SE corner of 200 West and 700 South [185 West 700 South] -- green, corner office. Come in Monday through Friday, from 9am - 1pm, with an armful of cozy for someone who could use it. Drop-offs outside of scheduled hours should be coordinated via telephone. Please contact Jenny Compton at 801.718.5555 to ensure someone is available to accept your donations.
We COLLECTIVELY tip our hat for your support.
