The Peery Hotel is, officially, Salt Lake's only hotel that can be found on our historical register. The title's worth it, by the by. The Peery's managed to incorporate countless interior updates and retain the qualities that distinguished it when it was built a century ago [we love their sign]. Erected in 1910 during the prosperity of the mining industry, it was commissioned by and for business people and their families. Updated in 2008 to accommodate a more modern traveler, the 73 well-appointed rooms and suites include all present-day needs. Sum and substance, it's a downtown hotel that oozes old-timey, western charm and upper-crust hospitality in a classically-updated setting.
The Peery sits at 110 W Broadway, bang-dead in the heart of Salt Lake; perfect location for a city that's sprouting in every direction. In fact, several of the restaurants we happen to most prize [Takashi! Pallet! Eva's! Settebello!] are within just 3 or 4 lovely blocks of the Peery's front door. You're minutes from pretty much all things good, truth be told -- drinks, dance, art, theatre, mountains. This is the ideal spot if you want to experience the city we adore. Tell your friends.
