What could possibly make for a better reason to celebrate than 50 (count them, FIFTY) years of historic preservation? For our part, there’s little that makes us want to toast, drink, mingle, and dance like that feeling we get upon seeing those historically important structures in our fantastic city saved and respected as they deserve to be. To that end, we’re COLLECTIVELY thrilled to join the Utah Heritage Foundation in just such a celebration. This amazing group of people has officially spend 50 long years “spreading the good word on good architecture and spearheading campaigns to keep the folks of Salt Lake educated on the historical integrity” of some of our state’s most beautiful, architecturally significant buildings. Our hope? That you join the fun. We’ll be there with the out-of-town VIPs and all (really…this is a big one, folks), taking the opportunity to reflect on half a century’s success and helping prepare for the next 50 with some FUNdraising. What’ll be available for your hard-earned, well-spent dollars? Good stuff: Unique Utah-specific memorabilia, handcrafted items, and fabulous gift certificates as far as the eye can see. On-site photo booth, so you can properly log/record your bangin’ ensemble (think: CHC-style. Black, gold, plenty of flash ‘n’ flare.) for time and all eternity. Oh, and (local) gourmet food stations, custom cocktails, and some live entertainment from the Joe Muscolino Band. We missing anything? Obviously not. This is sure to be a night worth enjoying.
