Chances are you’ve noticed the intriguing bit of construction going on near Central 9th. It's called theRUBY, and we first brought you news of the project's groundbreaking a few weeks back. It's set to be a pretty rad bit of new construction, and we think you'd do well to keep your eyes on its progress.

So, without further ado, here's the scoop...

As evidenced by these progress shots, theRUBY is well underway, and a few of the project's selected finishes are pictured below, so feel free to get a jump on daydreaming about decor. We're straight-up giddy with anticipation to see the final products, but for now, rest easy knowing that 12 of these beauties (at approximately 1,850 sq. ft. and priced in the mid-300s), will be up for grabs sooner than later. For those that may be extra antsy, check out our last feature on this spot to view a rendering of the final result.

Think: 12 modern townhomes in the up 'n' coming Granary block of Central 9th. With new SLC staples like Laziz Kitchen, Water Witch, Jade Market, and Meditrina, this spot is truly popping off in the best way. And, since CW Urban, the team behind theRUBY, strives to "create micro-communities that positively impact the vibrant existing neighborhoods," we think these streets are about to get even better.

There's a widely-used saying in the tattoo world: "Good work ain't cheap, and cheap work ain't good". And while it may not be 100% true 100% of the time, it's a solid rule of thumb that translates to many different fields--interior design, included...

While the weather outside may be frightful, it’s difficult to deny the majesty of a good set of twinkle lights. There’s been no shortage around our streets as of late, and we’ve found ourselves gravitating toward their warmth, like a few bundled-up moths to a flame...
