Updates + Love Notes

We have enough trouble corralling our excitement over things like home sales, good design, and local stuff on the daily. But when we start talking about our favorite yearly event, we get so damn jazzed, we hardly know what to do with ourselves. You feel that buzz? That good vibe in the air that makes you dream of fall weather, your favorite song, or hitting every green light on your way home from work? It's our 4th Annual Brew + 'Q, and it's well on its way. We just wanted to let you all know in puh-lenty of time.

Just bring your ID, your appetite, and your friends/family/face.

Grab that Stars & Planets wall calendar from the den and ready your gold pen: this year's parking-lot party will be happening on the evening of Friday, September 30th. It'll be just like old times (by which we mean, the once-a-year fun we've had since 2012). Delicious local bites, thirst-quenching libations, booty-shaking beats, and the kind of unequivocally good energy that'll have you doling out hugs like nobody's biz. This is it--the time each year when we invite everyone we know to get in on the fun, and with each Brew + 'Q past, the party keeps getting better. It only makes sense, then, that this year's soiree will be the best we've seen…and aside from tipping your kindly bartenders, we won't ask you for a nickel. Just bring your ID, your appetite, and your friends/family/face.

get a load o' last year's fun below…then, like, double it.

Seriously…mark that calendar and ready yourself emotionally for a dose of salty love, courtesy yours truly. Friday, September 30th, somewheres around the 7:00pm to 10:00pm time frame, right here at 645 E. South Temple. We'll be around back--lights strung high, tables set, and smiles abound--waiting to show you a good time. Keep an eye on the website (and Facebook/Instagram) over the next two months for details. In the mean time, get a load o' last year's fun below…then, like, double it.

Sammy Elam is a relatively recent addition to our COLLECTIVE crew, but he arrived with a style and ease that suggests he’s been here for a long while. I’ve yet to really get to know him well, but I’ve a keen eye, mind you. Here’s what I’ve learned so far...
