In our book, a lack of privacy is one of the deadliest sins. To have a retreat that's open, wide, and free from prying eyes--well it's damn near next to godliness. But the perfect 'hood? Well, that's just as good. So, what does one do when one finds the perfect poolside retreat--quiet, private, and under sunny skies--that also happens to be placed in one of SLC's most sought-after stomping grounds? Well, you host a late summer soiree with your chums, is what. It wasn't hard to convince a few of our own to saunter over to this striking Spanish-style home in Federal Heights. We noshed, we lounged, we marveled in the surprising coziness of the sweeping estate, we reveled in the good life. A cozy oasis, smack dab in the middle of one of our favorite 'hoods, in our (hands down) favorite city. This vintage number, originally built in the '20s, was completely redone in recent years, and the result is a modern mix of classic Spanish and clean contemporary. Cozy, minimal, open, and secluded--contradictory? Maybe. The perfect space to spend your days and nights? Absolutely. When you're ready, come and get it.
