Time: 7:30 pm - 12:00 am
Location: The Leonardo (209 E 500 S)
We’ve touted Leo After Dark before, and rightfully so. It’s an invitation to cruise the museum with a cocktail in hand, all while learning “about groundbreaking innovations and new horizons in art and technology”. Not a hard sell, say we.
Next up on the Leo post-dusk-party lineup is the aptly dubbed “Hallow’s Eve,” and it’s shaping up to be a fearfully seasonal-specific soiree. As always, attendees can expect live music and booze/bites to be provided in equally-delicious portions, and scientific spectacles are to be served up in spades. But this time it’s all being done with a slightly terrifying twist. Think: Circus arts performances, costume styling, face painting, and a screening of the 1962 classic “Carnival of Souls”. This one’s shaping up to be as scary as it is spectacular, so throw on your costume and let's get spooked.
