'Tis time once more for the weeklong visual arts fest, and this year marks the 8th for Salt Lake Design Week. The festival aims to expand "public awareness about design by showcasing and celebrating the diversity of our city's thriving design scene across all disciplines--graphic, digital, product, fashion, photography, architecture, furniture, interior, environmental, and more," and we're thrilled to COLLECTIVELY be a part of the whirlwind. As always, these five design-driven nights will feature a variety of events (over 40!), including lecture series, business and design forums, workshops, film screenings, studio tours, exhibitions, mixers, and parties (starting with opening night's kick-off, entitled "Placemakers"). SLDW brings together folks from all perspectives of the design process--from students to pros, entrepreneurs to lookie-loo locals--to "inspire and collaborate with one another for one week of the year". Prepare for as much insight and inspo as you can handle, and keep your eyes on the site for deets to come on the CHC-hosted panel in our HQ lounge space...
