Our Opinion: City Haven is a stellar little Central City building, and it's one that we're quite familiar with. Yup--yours truly was the original listing specialist for this entire development, and this particular building is our favorite of them. For starters, it's the newest, and (after a top to bottom remodel) is clad with loads of modern finishes, including new windows, kitchen, and everything in-between. Perk-wise, it's located on 800 E, which is one of the quieter north-to-south-running streets, while remaining within easy-peezy bike ride distance to the University, The Avenues, Downtown, Liberty Park, and 9th & 9th (you'll be cruising to Trader Joe's, Caffe Niche, Oasis Cafe, Rye, and Sawadee with ease). But should you find yourself in need of a drive, you'll be pleased to know this spot comes with it's own off-street parking space (win). This particular unit is flooded with just about as much natural light as you could ever ask for, which--when combined with the nice, high ceilings and killer hardwood floors--makes the space feel much bigger than its square footage might suggest. Newer paint and aforementioned updates make this central spot feel plenty posh, and we're thinking the private patio is the cherry on top (store your bike, whip up some BBQ, watch the locals breeze by, glass of somethin' good in hand). This one's easy. Like, Sunday morning.
