Our Opinion: Living in this building creates a bit of bias on my part, but I’ll defend my love for these condos anyway. This unit, in particular, has some magic in it. Seeing this space [years ago] was what turned me on to the Maryland. The previous owners spared no expense – a comforting fact, as the building is over 100 years old and adding simple amenities is no small feat. This unit is one of a select few that comes with extra gravy in the form of an updated central-air unit, a gourmet kitchen [complete with Sub Zero appliances], a wine refrigerator, washer/dryer hookups, and surround sound, to name a few. Lucky for you, they had the good sense to leave the best parts behind; cherrywood molding and doors, honeycomb tile in the kitchen and bath, and wall-to-wall windows [on the east and south] are all intact and staying classy. Underground parking, if you need another push. But you don’t.
