Our Opinion: We’re not talking about Banbury Cross here (although, in fairness, Banbury do have the lock on fried dough done right). No, no…we’re talking about this brand-spanking-new, modern build on Danish Road. This one’s for those of you who have been scouring the valley in vain, dying to find a place in a Cottonwood Heights neighb that doesn’t have that “standard home” vibe. We’ve got your number. It’s mountain adjacent, and your views from the back side of the home (from multiple decks, that is) are just fantastic. But let’s head inside, first. Being a new build and all, the interior is a sweet, sweet example of open spaces, clean lines, and continuity in design. Case in point: that cinder block-esque tile (yes, tile) that you see on the double-sided, fantastic fireplace is the very same you see on the exterior of the home. Same goes for that gorgeous tile flooring (we know…looks just like a beautiful, blonde wood!) that you see creeping right up the kitchen wall/backsplash. While we’re in the kitchen, we’ll mention the kicker–a true butler’s pantry. Yup. A walk-in pantry space with an extra sink and dishwasher. Translation: this is a place for a party. An office (actual office…not to be confused with the bedrooms) for all your emailing/conference call needs, and a good-sized basement will ensure that you won’t be wanting for additional space in this one. And–in another stroke of cohesive genius–the front and back yards are beautifully and minimally landscaped to align with the look and feel of the home itself. This’n here’s a rare find. Better not wait around.
