We're suckers for well-designed furniture, and we lurve when it's locally made with sustainable materials in our very own lovely city. Art Kieres recently moved to Salt Lake from Boston, MA, [cheers! hooray!] where he began his furniture business in 2006. A goodly gentleman, he invited us to his shop to show us where the magic is made [tasty snacks were included, and we ate them]. Located in the Ballpark neighborhood, Art runs a two-man show with his apprentice Eric Marshall, creating custom designs for residential and commercial settings. Welcome to SLC, sirs; hope to be seeing more of your goods around the city.
