Our Opinion: Rarely does one come across a home that’s both historically charming and sturdily-built in equal measure. Often we sacrifice the reliability and convenience of a new build for the certain je ne sais quoi of a vintage space, but with this dreamy little centrally-located spot, you’ll not have to sacrifice atall. The home, originally built in 1896, was brought down to the studs and completely redone in 2016 (see: 19th century charm + 21st century foundation, electrical, plumbing, roof, windows). The home is incredibly seismically-sound, and we think you’ll find the oversized one-car garage to be quite the find for this neighborhood (which happens to be near to a few fabulous SLC staples, East Liberty Tap House, Pago, and Trio among them). The exterior is sporting curb appeal in spades, and that bright-n-tidy kitchen makes us dream of brunches and bake-offs to come. Seems like the perfect mix of old-meets-new, to us, and feels a lot like “home”.
