Our Opinion: If you’re looking for “perfect location meets perfect price,” allow us to introduce this charming dandy. We’re always suckers for a well-designed bungalow, and this particularly well-placed home is checking off all our “must-haves” in a hurry. For starters, the place is serving symmetry in spades–windows are where they should be, and roof lines are balanced, to boot (you’d do well to note that bar tile roof, folks). Outside, the garage and carport have been recently re-roofed, and–with a fireplace tucked amongst the trees–you’ll find this is the perfect place for s’mores and storytelling. Inside, the hardwood floors gleam from room to room, and we think you’ll find the cork in the kitchen to be particularly forgiving on the tootsies. Location-wise, this one is close enough to walk to both Sugar House Park and to 15th & 15th. Surely you’re familiar with this hallowed junction: Paris Bistro. Trestle Tavern. The soon-to-be-opening Tulie Bakery (Kouign-amann, anyone?). Yes, we think this dreamy, Robin’s Egg-trimmed space feels much like a “sweet home” should–and we don’t reckon it’ll be available long at all.
