Our Opinion: Sometimes we get the opportunity to help our own families move on to pastures they deem a touch greener. Today, it’s “mom” (no, really)…and said pastures are waiting for her in South Carolina. And the home she’s leaving behind may just be a “greener pasture” for one of you. This craftsman bungalow is equal parts stately and solid, with just the right amount of cozy. Open concept layout is punctuated by details like original wood trim and gorgeous, hardwood floors. Cold, wintery nights needn’t worry you here–between the cozy fireplace and those built-ins, you’ll be feeling all sorts of warmth. Grab your favorite blankey and get into a good book, or call a few of your close ones…we’re thinking a couple glasses of wine and some rounds of Pictionary will suit this space really nicely. Three of the bedrooms reside on the main floor, and the en suite is home to a walk-in closet and private bath (#spoiled). Mother-in-law with its own entrance, a roomy kitchen, real wood paneling, and a large storage room (well, it’s bound to make her happy). The kitchen overlooks the backyard, which is has room enough for all you need–spot for a garden, plenty of annuals, and a patio to host the entire gang. Bonus: there’s a two-car garage, and the driveway was recently redone, as was the sewer line. More good vibes than we can shake a stick at here…it’d serve you well to ring us up.
